Prayer
Strategy for Mozambique, Africa
Mathew 9:37-38 Hebrews
12: 1-3
I. Pray for the continued
multiplication of laborers strengthened in God’s might to
persevere
past language barriers, violence and destitution to utter God’s
word
to a growing harvest hungering for God’s truth.
-Portuguese
is the native language and few have learned to speak it.
-War, Famine,
and Poverty has flooded Mozambique with refugees.
Isaiah 11:2 Acts
7:9 (b)-10
II. Pray for the spirit
of the Lord to be released upon Arone Matavale
(Divine Restoration Ministries) and all the leaders that they
may have favor with
the government and God’s wisdom may rest upon their decisions.
-Mozambique’s
government is demanding proper training for
Church leaders
and finances are limited.
Malachi 3:5 Isaiah
61: 3-4 Joel
2:25-27
III. Pray for the judgment
of God to be loosed upon the strongman of witchcraft, the veil
of
deception lifted, and the curses of poverty, disease, and destitution
would be reversed. Break
governmental control and manipulation, religious legalisms,
and false teachings and loose God’s
restoration and healing upon the people.
-In 1995,
Mozambique emerged from a 30 year civil war as the world’s
poorest nation
-14% are known
to be HIV + and 310,000 AIDS orphans
-Heavily
northern Mozambique feels neglected do to the effects of natural
disasters
1st Peter 1:15-16 James
3:13-18
IV. Pray for the fear
of the Lord to be loosed upon the churches and the people to
uproot
carnality, strife, and division and to lift up holy standards. Break
confusion and destroy nominalism
(hypocrisy) that true holiness may arise.
-Wide spread
poverty and destitution has caused moral living to decline
Psalms 91:11-12 Isaiah
61:1 Psalm
5:12
V. Pray for the boldness
and power of God to rest upon the team that their utterance
may
loose fire upon spirits of bondage, bands of captivity, and
all satanic hindrances. Release warring
angels to escort and protect them upon their journey. And,
pray God’s favor with governmental
leaders, customs, communication, and all connections while
in the land.
