Prayer
Strategy for Swaziland
Ezekial 47:9 Isaiah
41:18
Pray that a move
of God’s spirit would be released in Swaziland as the
team ministers in
that region.
The kingdom of Swaziland is 82% Christian. Even though
there are a high percentage of believers
in this nation, there is only one Pentecostal denomination,
The Assemblies of God.
Pray that the river
that God has allowed to flow in this house would be initiated
and
break forth there.
Psalm 133:1 Matthew
12:25 II
Cor 10:12
Bind the spirit
of division that has plagued the church in that nation. Denominational
rivalry has been strong in Swaziland for years, keeping the
church
from being able to establish true kingdom dominion.
Bind the spirit
of competition.
Romans 12:2 Lev
10:10 I
Timothy 4:1-2
Bind the spirit
of compromise that has defiled the church in that nation.
The African Independent Churches that have the largest following
in this nation with over 50% of
the population attending have been infiltrated with compromise.
Many of these churches have
become involved with polygamy, witchcraft, ancestor veneration
(worship), and appeasement
sacrifices.
Bind the spirit
of seduction that has caused the people of that region to give
ear to
false doctrine, deception, and hypocrisy.
Deut 18:10-12 Micah
5:12-13 Nahum
3:4
Bind the spirit of witchcraft
and Jezebel that has infiltrated the church in that nation.
It is interesting to note that even though the kingdom of
Swaziland has never experienced
systematic horror of slavery that African Americans have, yet
it is the men in this country that are
most bound; with over 70% of the members of the church being
women.
Eph 4:11-12
Pray that God would
begin to raise up apostolic ministries to set order in the
church
and put an emphasis on sound biblical doctrine.
Isaiah 8:18 I
Tim 4:12
Pray that God would
ignite the fires of revival in the youth of this country.
Pray
that God would cause them to be a generation of signs and wonders
in Swaziland.
In Swaziland nominalism has become a major problem. The churches
are not holding their young
people. They reject the spiritual weakness and compromise of
their elders.
